At IKAD Engineering, our dedicated machine shops offer our clients a comprehensive range of general and specialist machining services from milling to line boring and general lathe work. Our skilled machinists can work from your plans and drawings to achieve the first-class results you are looking for. Accuracy is key to the success of any project, and our team has the very latest machinery at their disposal to ensure the very highest levels of engineering precision.
Our machines can undertake a wide range of drilling and milling, to some of the largest equipment components in use by our customers. If parts are unavailable, fabrication and machining may be the only option to keep our clients equipment in operation. If our clients don’t have drawings or design information that’s not a problem here at IKAD. We can reverse engineer a solution for you.
Combined with the skills of our highly motivated machining team and the use of our workshop lifting equipment, we are able to deal with virtually any machining task that our clients present to us. We can also provide on-site machining services for specific tasks.
5 Axis CNC Machining Centre
Complex geometry, uncompromising precision
The Axile G8 delivers true 5-axis simultaneous control across a 670mm x 820mm x 600mm work envelope, with an 800mm diameter rotary table rated to 1,300kg. With an A-axis range of +/-120° and full 360° C-axis rotation, it handles the most demanding contoured and compound-angle components with confidence.
Submerged Wire EDM
Micron-level accuracy
The Excetek V850G Plus operates fully submerged for thermal stability, achieving +/-2 micron accuracy and a surface finish of Ra 0.15µm across workpieces up to 1,100mm x 850mm x 505mm and 1,100kg. With UV axis travel of 160mm x 160mm and a cutting efficiency of 250mm²/min, it is built for high-precision, intricate profile work where tolerance is non-negotiable.

Large-scale machining
The Starvision PC-6026 Double Column Machining Centre offers a commanding 6,000mm x 2,600mm table with a 17,000kg load capacity and 2,800mm clearance between columns. A 6,000rpm spindle and 32-position automatic tool changer ensure productivity and versatility across large structural and precision components.
3 Axis CNC Vertical Turning Centre
Heavy Duty Precision
The Goodway GVH-2500M is a heavy-duty CNC vertical turret lathe featuring a 2,800mm diameter table rated to 15,000kg, with a maximum turning height of 1,700mm and turning diameter of 2,800mm. Sixteen live tooling stations and a C-axis capability enable complex milling and turning operations on the largest of workpieces, with positional accuracy of +/-0.007mm per 500mm.

Ten metres of turning capability
The Goodway HA Series heavy-duty lathe delivers up to 10,000mm between centres, with a 2,000mm swing over bed and 320mm spindle bore, handling loads to 15,000kg. Twelve live tooling stations and a C-axis make it one of the most capable long-bed turning platforms available, suited to shafts, rolls, and large rotating components of any complexity.

Versatile turning for mid-range components
The Goodway GS-4000LM Turn-Mill Centre offers a 550mm maximum turning diameter and 3,045mm turning length, with a 115mm spindle bore and Y-axis travel of 120mm. Twelve live tooling positions and full C-axis capability make it equally at home on complex turned and milled components in a single setup.

Production ready precision turning
The Goodway GS-3600LY Turn-Mill Centre handles components up to 400mm in diameter and 1,500mm in length, with a 105mm spindle bore and 100mm Y-axis travel. Its 12-position turret with live tooling and C-axis functionality delivers the flexibility to complete complex parts efficiently and accurately in one operation.

The Neway VM1150S offers a 1,100mm x 520mm working table with a 750kg load capacity and XYZ travels of 1,000mm x 520mm x 560mm. With 24 live tooling stations, it is a dependable and capable platform for precision milling, drilling, and profiling across a broad range of components and materials.
Horizontal Borer
Deep reach, heavy-duty precision
Built for large and complex workpieces that demand deep-hole boring and precision facing, our horizontal borer delivers the reach and rigidity required for substantial structural and mechanical components. It enables accurate boring, milling, and drilling operations on parts that would challenge conventional vertical machining setups, making it a key capability for defence and industrial overhaul work.
