CNC Steel Plate Processing Centre
Plate processing at industrial scale
The FICEP GEMINI G36HD gantry-style processing centre handles steel plate from 5mm to 125mm thick, across a 3m wide by 15m long work envelope. Twin bridge frames, plasma and oxy bevelling, dual 8,000rpm drilling spindles, and a 24-position automatic tool changer combine marking, scribing, drilling, tapping, and milling into a single, continuous workflow.
CNC 5-Axis Pipe Cutting & Profiling
The CNC-50/800 5-axis pipe cutting and profiling machine handles pipe diameters from 50mm to 800mm, delivering precise cuts, compound bevels, and complex end profiles in a single automated operation. Five-axis control eliminates manual layout and secondary processing, producing weld-ready pipe ends to exact specifications, critical for high-integrity pipework in defence, marine, and industrial applications.

Welding Processes & Procedures
IKAD Engineering has an extensive range of qualified welding procedures, qualified welders and is accredited to ISO 3834 as well as being an approved Germanischer Lloyd Welding Workshop. IKAD Engineering has the capabilities to carry out all welding processes to the following standards, Product standard(s) or alternative standard(s) (see EN ISO 3834-5): AS 1210, AS 1554, AS 1665, AS 2885, AS 3992, AS 4037, AS 4041, AWS 4458, AWS D1.1, ASME IX,ASME B31.3, Navy Standards, Customer specs. All welding is carried out under the supervision of our AS1796 Certificate 10 and CSWIP qualified Supervisors.
