We are currently seeking applications for a suitably qualified and experienced Project Supervisor with extensive experience for our great local team. The position will be a full-time role. The Project Supervisor’s main duty is to supervise, co-ordinate and schedule projects throughout various sites and our workshop in a safe & productive manner, in accordance with IKAD’s policies & procedures.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise team performance (including sub-contractors and labour hire) and receive and provide constructive feedback on goal achievement and productivity rates.
  • Sound knowledge in all aspects of mechanical maintenance and sustainment, including, rotating machinery, bearings, gearboxes pumps and valves.
  • Provide technical support and direction to the project team and conduct/attend weekly meetings.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with specific quality requirements, carry out dimensional & visual inspections.
  • Evaluate project, recommend and report to identify issues and opportunities to improve ongoing performance.
  • Interact within all organisational departments to ensure projects are completed effectively.

Essential

  • Trade Qualification or other relevant qualification.
  • Extensive Supervision and Management experience within a Heavy-Engineering Marine Environment.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Work Safe Regulations.
  • ‘C’ Class Driver’s License.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Time management, planning, organizational and leadership skills.
  • The ability to prioritise conflicting priorities, display complex problem solving and work under pressure.
