Project Supervisor

We are currently seeking applications for a suitably qualified and experienced Project Supervisor with extensive experience for our great local team. The position will be a full-time role. The Project Supervisor’s main duty is to supervise, co-ordinate and schedule projects throughout various sites and our workshop in a safe & productive manner, in accordance with IKAD’s policies & procedures.

Role & Responsibilities

Supervise team performance (including sub-contractors and labour hire) and receive and provide constructive feedback on goal achievement and productivity rates.
Sound knowledge in all aspects of mechanical maintenance and sustainment, including, rotating machinery, bearings, gearboxes pumps and valves.
Provide technical support and direction to the project team and conduct/attend weekly meetings.

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with specific quality requirements, carry out dimensional & visual inspections.
Evaluate project, recommend and report to identify issues and opportunities to improve ongoing performance.
Interact within all organisational departments to ensure projects are completed effectively.

Essential

Trade Qualification or other relevant qualification.
Extensive Supervision and Management experience within a Heavy-Engineering Marine Environment.
Good knowledge and understanding of Work Safe Regulations.
‘C’ Class Driver’s License.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Time management, planning, organizational and leadership skills.
The ability to prioritise conflicting priorities, display complex problem solving and work under pressure.
