Are you a qualified fabrication professional with leadership potential and a passion for safety and precision? We’re looking for an experienced Foreperson – Industrial to join our dynamic team and lead site-based Industrial operations across a variety of exciting projects. As a key member of our team, you’ll supervise and guide crews, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards — particularly within maritime environments.
The Role
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of the team on-site
- Supervise personnel, apprentices, and subcontractors
- Support training and development of apprentices and contractors
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all work activities
- Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and project teams
- Manage tools, PPE, and site resources in line with safety policies
- Undertake fabrication and welding duties as needed
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and productive work environment
Essential
- Trade certificate or equivalent training & the necessary experience
- Minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience
- Ability to work across multiple sites as required
- Strong communication and basic leadership skills
- Reasonable level of physical fitness and mobility
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Ability to work in remote locations when required
- Able to work at heights or in confined spaces
- Adherence to Fitness for Work policies
Desirable
- Previous experience working on Utilities projects (Highly regarded)
- EWP Ticket
- Working at Heights
- WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Confined Space
- Fire Sentry certification
- First Aid Certificate
