Are you a qualified fabrication professional with leadership potential and a passion for safety and precision? We’re looking for an experienced Foreperson – Industrial to join our dynamic team and lead site-based Industrial operations across a variety of exciting projects. As a key member of our team, you’ll supervise and guide crews, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards — particularly within maritime environments.

The Role

  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of the team on-site
  • Supervise personnel, apprentices, and subcontractors
  • Support training and development of apprentices and contractors
  • Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all work activities
  • Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and project teams
  • Manage tools, PPE, and site resources in line with safety policies
  • Undertake fabrication and welding duties as needed
  • Contribute to a clean, safe, and productive work environment

Essential

  • Trade certificate or equivalent training & the necessary experience
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience
  • Ability to work across multiple sites as required
  • Strong communication and basic leadership skills
  • Reasonable level of physical fitness and mobility
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Ability to work in remote locations when required
  • Able to work at heights or in confined spaces
  • Adherence to Fitness for Work policies

Desirable

  • Previous experience working on Utilities projects (Highly regarded)
  • EWP Ticket
  • Working at Heights
  • WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • Confined Space
  • Fire Sentry certification
  • First Aid Certificate
