An excellent opportunity for training and development for a Trade Assistant to work as a part our Industrial Projects Team. Located in Henderson (no FIFO) you will be reporting to the the Project Supervisor to carry out your duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform general hand and labouring duties.
- Assist trades level employees directly with all aspects of work to be undertaken on a day to day basis.
- Operate hand tools specifically grinders as required to undertake nominated tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop, machinery and tools, ensuring all tools and equipment are used and stored safely and correctly.
- Complete all paperwork and computer records accurately and as required.
- Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed.
- Utilise all safety equipment, tools and machinery in accordance with processes.
- Continually work with the team to engage in internal training provided to obtain the appropriate skills and experience to safely and competently perform and evolve with the role.
- Assist trades level employees in the performance of fault/maintenance diagnostic, compiling test data for reporting, identifying abnormalities in test results, suspected non-conformance and solution finding.

Essential
- Previous Trade Assistant experience essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of power tools
- Willingness to learn and be flexible with duties
- Proven strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to work overtime
- Eagerness to learn and work with a small team with adaptability to various tasks required
- Forklift ticket, Dogman, Rigger ticket required (desirable)
- Overhead Crane ticket (desirable)
